Apple is launching a free tutorial on how to draw yourself as a Peanuts character
The illustrator Krista Porter from “The Snoopy Show” shows this step by step in the video series “Today at Apple”. She had recently fallen asleep a little.
“Today at Apple” is the name of a free series of workshops that the iPhone manufacturer is offering in its stores. Apple has been offering the free workshops online via Cisco Webex since 2020. Now the group is going a new way and is publishing the tutorials on YouTube. The first episode shows how you can draw yourself as a Peanuts character – with the text and layout program Pages.
Storyboard draftsman guides
The educational video will be moderated by the Apple creative professional Anthony and the artist Krista Porter. She usually works on storyboards for “The Snoopy Show”. The Peanuts series runs on Apple TV +. Porter shows the correct steps for 10 minutes. In contrast to the original format, the sessions no longer work like a webinar where you can ask questions. Apple says it plans to upload more “Today at Apple” sessions to YouTube. These should be creative projects for photo, video, art and design, writes CNET. In each video, experts show different techniques.
Youtube just an additional channel
Anyone who knows “Today at Apple” knows that there are also different ones on the German-language website Tutorial videos in the “Today at Apple at home” section frolic. They show, for example, how to use kitchen appliances to create sounds for Garageband and how to create impressive portraits with iPhone and iPad. The series had recently fallen asleep, with the new episode on Youtube it could awaken to new life.
