Evidence of Call of Duty: Slipstream -apkrig is multiplying

While much of the secret behind this year’s Battlefield series has already been revealed through an official performance, we are still waiting for the details of the new Call of Duty to be revealed. Apart from confirming that the game will actually work out this year, Activision didn’t say anything more about it, which also applies to the developers – most likely the Sledgehammer Games team. Nevertheless, mainly through the insider Tom Henderson, we really got a lot of information, which was to some extent confirmed by individual game media. The most current speculation then revolves around a possible subtitle, which was and still is considered Vanguard. However, a supposed alphaversion of the upcoming Call of Duty with a size of over 30 GB, marked Slipstream, has appeared on Battle.net and now also on PlayStation Network servers.

We didn’t even want to write about the first occurrence of the data package on Battle.net, but over the weekend the same entry appeared on Sony’s servers and it is now quite clear that Slipstream is about Call of Dut and something means. In short, it might seem like a real subtitle for the new game, finally confirmed by the developers, but we must not forget a similar situation from last year. Since January 2020, the developers of Black Ops Cold War have been testing an alpha codenamed The Red Door, which was thematically linked to the story but did not change its name. It can therefore be expected that Slipstream is also just a beta designation and we will have to wait for the name to be revealed.

But whatever the Slipstream developers take in the end, we tend to think it’s just a code mark.

As for the word Slipstream, which is colored in the logo with a reference to the American flag and the font resembles by air the inscription can mean either the swirling of the air behind a moving object – such as an airplane – or a designation of a literary genre that mixes science fiction, fantasy and fiction in general. After all, this would also be on Call of Duty, if we take into account the integral connection of the last parts with zombies, which are, of course, the product of the authors’ screenwriting imagination. But no matter what the developers of Slipstream end up, we are more inclined to think that it is just a code name, and at least for now we are betting on the speculated subtitle Vanguard.

Activision is likely to tell us in the coming weeks, but we still don’t know the specific date the game was unveiled. We also remind you that the Black Ops Cold War test under the mentioned name The Red Door has been running since January, but the game was not officially introduced until mid-August, so Activision still has time and speculation about problems or possible postponement is still not entirely appropriate. .
