The first smart watch with the HarmonyOS system
Today, Huawei officially introduced its HarmonyOS operating system, along with a pair of smart watches. Huawei Watch 3 a 3 Pro bring according to the portal GSMArena in addition to the new system, eSIM support and three-day endurance.
Huawei confirmed that the new watch will soon come to the Slovak market, the price has not been set yet.
Huawei Watch 3
The new generation of smart watches from the Chinese manufacturer has a round metal design with a 3D crown for controlling the new system on the right side. There is another control button under the crown. The body should be waterproof with 5 ATM certification and the AMOLED touch screen should also be operated in gloves or in the rain. Its diagonal is 1.43 inches, a brightness of 1000 nits and a pixel density of 326 PPI. The back of the body is ceramic.
It contains a sensor that can measure the heartbeat, blood oxygenation and even body temperature. At the same time, the watch continuously measures user stress and sleep quality. Athletes will certainly appreciate the measurement of 17 professional sports modes (more than 100 modes are available in total). The watch is pre-installed with a number of useful applications and others can be installed by the user from the AppGallery without the need for a smartphone.
After pairing it via Bluetooth, the user can make phone calls using the watch’s microphone. Huawei Watch 3 has support for mobile connection via eSIM and with active LTE they last charged for up to 3 days. There is also an extremely economical mode that extends endurance to 14 days. The watch will be sold in black and silver with silicone, leather, metal and classic straps for 333 euros on the Chinese market.
Huawei Watch 3 Pro
For the watch version, it differs from the classic version only in three parameters. The first is a titanium body with sapphire crystal. The second is the longer battery life, which reaches up to 5 days with active LTE. In power save mode, it is 21 days. The last difference is the presence of a more accurate dual GPS receiver with bands 1 and 5. The price of the watch on the Chinese market will be 423 euros.
