More stable system and new icons
Company Samsung has released new software updates for its smart watch Galaxy Watch3 a Galaxy Watch Active2. According to the portal PhoneArena should bring new icons to their system and improve its stability.
Tizen OS receives new icons for selected applications
The last major update of these two smart watches took place in early April. It has improved the stability of the messaging application, Wi-Fi stability, and system stability and reliability. The numbering of the new software update for Galaxy Watch3 is R840XXU1BUE3 a R830XXU1DUE3 pre Galaxy Watch Active2.
The Tizen OS system on these two smart watches remains in the same version 5.5.0.2. The software update brings improvements to the auto-walk / run icons and improvements to the Inactive Time Alerts icon. At the same time, the stability of the system should be improved again. You can check for the update in the Galaxy Wearable app, which you should have installed on your smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch3 should be the latest watch with Tizen OS
As early as July, Samsung should present its new smart watch Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4. In the case of the Active version, it should skip the numbering Galaxy Watch Active3 and unify it with the classic model. However, the biggest change will be in the operating system, because Tizen OS should be replaced by a new system, which will be created by merging Tizen OS and Wear OS.

The new system is intended to enable faster application opening, longer battery life and new options, including additional watch dials. However, the most significant change should be more third-party applications to download. The home screen will be more customizable, and there was talk of a possible blood glucose monitor for both watch models.
This health monitoring feature would allow insulin-dependent diabetics to test themselves before each meal. They would not have to take blood, place it on a disposable and expensive test strip and then insert it into the meter. The competing company is allegedly preparing the same function for its Apple Watch series 7 smart watch.
