The Apple Store. Yes, of course we have known them for years. But did you know that there will also be a Google Store? And here is that first store.

Online shopping has been hipper than ever since 2020 due to the corona pandemic. However, it is not the solution for all things. Sometimes you want to experience products or services yourself. Then you have to take your lazy ass off the couch and go to the store. Google is still a completely digital company that supplies physical products through web shops. But that is about to change. The Google Store is here!

If you are shopping and you see an Apple Store, it is always nice to walk in. Play with that new Mac, discover an iPhone, or view accessories. The spacious layout of these stores makes it inviting to visit. Google will undoubtedly have looked at this concept with envious looks. Perhaps that is also why the American tech company is now coming up with its own store.

The first Google Store will be located in the heart of Manhattan, in the American city of New York. The brand does have some experience in physical retail. There were pop-up shops in the past. But having your own store is really completely new. You can go there for various products. Of course the Google Pixel phones, but also products from Nest and Fitbit can be found in the store.

Google Store in the Netherlands?

The first step has been taken with the Google Store in New York City. However, a shop of the tech company in the Netherlands is still very far away. First, it is a tryout of the brand. Perhaps the concept flops, no one is waiting for a Google store. And if more branches follow, logically that expansion will be in the United States first. Only after that other locations in the rest of the world and maybe, just maybe, one day in the Netherlands. But don’t hang on to it. Fortunately, various Google products can also be found in various Dutch electronics stores.
