‘New Apple Watch Series 7 to be seen in renders’
Well-known and reliable tasty Jon Prosser has leaked renders of the still unannounced Apple Watch Series 7. The renders, which according to Prosser are based on CAD files and photos from the new smartwatch, show a design with flat sides and slightly rounded edges. This matches the design of the iPhone 12 and the rest of Apple’s 2021 lineup.
Although the design is more square than the design of the Apple Watch Series 6, the smartwatch does keep the curved screen. The edges are also still slightly rounded. Apple has probably opted for this with an eye on wearing comfort.
Available in new colors
We previously wrote about a new design and a green color for the Apple Watch Series 7. The new renders confirm the green color and also show refreshing light blue and light red colors. We saw these colors before on the iPad Air 2020 and the iMac 2021. In addition to blue, red and green, the new Apple watch would also come on the market in dark gray and silver.
It is also striking that the speakers are a lot larger than the speakers of the current Apple Watch Series 6. The source does not mention anything about this. It could mean that Apple’s new smart watch will get a major sound update. We hope to hear more about this soon.
More about the Apple Watch Series 7
In recent months, a lot of new information about Apple’s upcoming smartwatch has appeared. The watch will most likely be announced this fall.
The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to get a blood sugar sensor. That way, people with diabetes no longer need to measure their blood sugar with a needle. It is also rumored that the new Apple Watch will get a fingerprint scanner, so that you can unlock the watch with your finger.
