iPhone is at the bottom of more for 6 months, still works

A bizarre story! An iPhone in the water for six months, but the smartphone still works.

Modern smartphones can withstand a splash of water. However, you are not supposed to dive with a smartphone, because most of them will not survive this due to the pressure. The duration of a phone in the water should also not be too long. Nevertheless, this iPhone 11 managed to survive under water for no less than 6 months.

This story takes place in a lake in British Columbia. That’s a province in Canada. A man was on a boat on the lake taking pictures of the area and suddenly he dropped the iPhone 11 in the water. End of story, because of course you will never find that phone again.

However, the story took a plot twist. Six months later, two hobby divers found two telephones at the bottom of the lake. A folding phone and an iPhone 11. The diver dried the iPhone when he got home and sure enough, the phone turned on too! Then the rightful owner could be traced.

Of course, the owner had long since bought a new smartphone. The man was blown away that the iPhone 11 was still functioning after lying at the bottom of a lake for 6 months. The smartphone was not completely intact. The speakers were broken and the microphone no longer worked. A bizarre story nonetheless! (via CBC)
