Google Fit adds ‘Pace Walking’ to challenge yourself even more

There are a lot of apps available to track your steps, movements and activities. Google Fit is a good example of this. The application has now been expanded with the option ‘Pace walking’ with which you can challenge yourself even more.

Pace walking in Google Fit

The developers of Google Fit have added a new feature to the service. The new feature called Pace Walking lets you set a pace goal so you can challenge yourself even more. For example, you can set that you want to take 100 steps per minute for your next walk; or just a little more, or less. In order to keep up your pace, the beat is indicated in the background. It doesn’t replace your podcast, music, or anything else; you can just keep playing it.

You can now find the Pace Walk in the Google Fit app. It is possible that not everyone sees this in the app yet, rest assured. Functions are being rolled out in phases and can therefore be with you at any time.
