Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series announced

We see four new smartphones from Xiaomi. The smartphone manufacturer has just finished the Redmi Note 10 series. The devices will be named Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 10 5G. We will also see the new devices in the Netherlands and in this article we will inform you extensively about the new smartphones.

The Redmi Note 10 series is the successor to the Redmi Note 9 series. On DroidApp we saw very good results in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro review. In addition, the device also managed to secure a nice place at the DroidApp Awards 2020. In several areas, the Note 10 series from Xiaomi should be a further improvement.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10

We start with the Redmi Note 10. This device gets a 6.43 inch AMOLED screen and an improved fingerprint scanner on the side. This one seems to be sticking out of the case. We also see a Snapdragon 678 processor with the device. The phone will get dual speakers and support for 33W fast charging.

If we look at the camera, we come across four cameras. This includes a 48MP main camera, along with an 8MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP lens for capturing depth. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a 3.5 millimeter connection for a headset.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 will have a 5000 mAh battery, 4 / 6GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of storage space.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

The top model of the Redmi Note 10 series is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. This device comes with a 6.67 inch AMOLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate. Here too, the manufacturer has worked on an improved fingerprint scanner with a so-called ‘Arc design’. The device provides access to the 4G network, not 5G, and offers a Snapdragon 732G chipset. The 5020 mAh battery can be charged quickly with 33W.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro gets a quad camera. It offers a 108 megapixel main lens for rich details, thanks to the 9-in-1 binning technology. It also offers a higher dynamic range. Dual Native ISO for fine details and improvements such as the improved night mode. We also see an 8MP, 5MP and 2MP lens with the device. The device appears with 6 / 8GB RAM and 64 / 128GB storage space. The memory can be expanded. In addition, stereo speakers can be found on the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S

Just as there was a Redmi Note 9S with the Redmi Note 9 series, we also see the Redmi Note 10S here. In addition, there is a Redmi Note 10 5G. It is striking that Xiaomi does not initially share any further information about this. For example, specifications and features are missing. Xiaomi does share the information that the phone will not be released in the Netherlands and Belgium until later this year. With the Redmi Note 9 series, the differences between the other models were not very different with the S model.

Update policy and details

Finally Xiaomi also shares more information about the update policy. The manufacturer will provide the devices from the Redmi Note 10 series with two Android updates and four MIUI updates. This includes the security updates, which means that you can expect an update every quarter. All devices come on the market with Android 11 and MIUI 12.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 will be available from March 31, while the Redmi Note 10S and Note 10 5G will be in stores from the end of May. Prices are unfortunately unknown.
