Apple offers to transfer photos from iCloud to Google Photos
Apple offers a new service that allows photos and videos stored in iCloud to be transferred to Google Photos. It is only available in Europe for now.
The process to transfer photos and videos from iCloud to Google Photos takes between three and seven days, according to Apple. “This period allows us to verify that you are the originator of the request and to proceed with the transfer”, Explain the company. Of course, the more data to transfer, the longer the process will take. Apple specifies that some formats available in iCloud, such as smart albums, Live Photos or some RAW files, may not be available when uploading to another service.
How to transfer from iCloud to Google Photos
- Meeting on this address and sign in with your Apple ID
- Locate the section “Transfer a copy of your data” and click on “Request the transfer of a copy of your data”
