HTC Desire 12s officially unveiled in Taiwan

The HTC Desire 12s is an Android smartphone that appears in HTC’s homeland Taiwan just before the end of the year. It is a variant of the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12 Plus which have been available in the Netherlands since the beginning of this year. This budget smartphone has few special features, but offers especially decent hardware for a reasonable price.

The design of the smartphone is reminiscent of the LG G5 . On the back is a single camera with flash in a small bulge, with the fingerprint scanner below. The back is made of metal or aluminum, with two shades of gray or black depending on the color you choose. The front is a 5.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels. Release in the Netherlands uncertain

In Taiwan, the HTC Desire 12s is sold from this month for converted 200 euro. That is relatively pricey: Motorola and Nokia, among others, offer smartphones with better hardware for the same amount. In this way you also get the Motorola Moto G6 for 200 euros, equipped with a newer, more powerful Snapdragon 450 chip and double camera on the back. The Nokia 5.1 also offers a better screen with higher resolution for a few tens of less.

Whether the HTC Desire 12s also appears in the Netherlands is still unknown. The last device that the manufacturer released here was the HTC U12 Life about four months ago.
