Apple Watch reaps highest level of satisfaction among smartwatch users
According to a recent survey by Counterpoint Research, theAppleWatch shows the highest level of satisfaction of all smartwatch models. The same survey indicates (to be taken with a grain of salt) that nearly 80% of iPhone owners (wearing a smartwatch) have an Apple Watch. Google’s Pixel Watch is also a hit, with 71% of Android users who buy a smartwatch also owning a Pixel Watch.
The counterpoint study also covers the functions of smartwatches preferred by their owners. Younger users prefer notification and messaging services while older smartwatch owners place more emphasis on health. these functions also guarantee the general level of satisfaction of smartwatch users: more than 70% of Apple Watch owners would be very satisfied with their connected watch mainly because of these integrated functions.
Matthew Orf. analyst for Counterpoint, takes stock of this study: “Our consumer survey confirms a general assumption: consumers typically buy their devices as part of a larger ecosystem of devices and operating systems. Apple and iOS dominate the US smartphone market, and iPhone users are more likely to adopt other Apple products due to their superior interoperability. »
Finally, and again according to this study, 77% of people questioned said they planned to acquire an Apple Watch. Bodes well for Apple’s market share in the wearable sector…
