When we get angry, we may curse. In almost every language there are expressions of the category vulgar language. But which cities in Germany are ahead when it comes to the topic of swearing?

Vulgar Language: Swearing thrives in these cities

The language learning platform Preply surveyed more than 1,500 people in Germany’s most densely populated cities to analyze where cursing is most common.

According to this, Germans curse an average of 9.5 times a day. After all, we generally scold ourselves more often than other people. But which cities are ahead when it comes to profanity?

8th place: Bochum

Average seven People in Bochum curse once a day. With more than 370,000 inhabitants, the city is the sixth largest in North Rhine-Westphalia.
