Motorola One Macro is only now getting Android 10 update
Motorola still has a bad reputation with its update policy. The latest state of affairs proves this once again, with the Motorola One Macro. This device will now be updated with the update to Android 10, and no, it is not a typo.
Android 10 for Motorola One Macro
Motorola is rolling out a ‘new’ update for the Motorola One Macro released in 2019. The word ‘new’ is deliberately in parentheses, as it hasn’t exactly received much attention from the manufacturer, it seems. Not Android 11, but only the update to Android 10 is now being rolled out for the One Macro. The smartphone manufacturer is starting to roll out the update in Brazil, as is usually the case with the brand.
Since Motorola generally only rolls out one Android update to its cheaper devices, we should not expect a newer Android version with the Motorola One Macro. It is not clear why users had to wait so long for the now outdated update. After all, Android 12 is just around the corner and is expected to be announced by Google within a few weeks. Together with Android 10, the Motorola One Macro will be provided with a security update December 2020.
