One indication appears to be the most expensive cities in Germany in 2023. The values ​​​​of the platform are based on percentages – compared to New York City, currently the most expensive city in the world.

In the southwest of Germany is our tenth place, the city of Mannheim. The cost of living index there is overall 65.4 percent and is thus 34.6 percent lower than in New York City.
