the most stylish wireless charger on the market?
Wireless charging is a trend that has been with us for several years. Basically, every better phone now has this feature, so it’s no wonder that there are still new manufacturers who want to succeed with their chargers. Some aim for a low price, others for performance, and then there are manufacturers for whom design is most important. The charger we will talk about today belongs more to the last category. It is about Moshi Otto Q, which differs from other chargers not only in design, but also in the materials used. So let’s talk about her.

Package Contents Moshi Otto Q
The Moshi Otto Q charger comes in a relatively simple and no extra high-quality paper box. In addition to the charger itself, there is only a gray charger in it USB-A/USB-C kabel. Its quality is not clearly bad, but if it was also made of fabric as well as the charger, the product as a whole would look even better. Needless to say, it is quite short (1m) so if you want to connect the charger to a specific place, you have to take that into account. Unfortunately, in the package you do not get a charging adapter.

Design and quality of workmanship
It must be said at the outset that the Moshi Otto Q is not a traditional wireless charger. He has quite a unique design that blends well with your work, dining and bedside tables. It even happened to us that the visit to us did not recognize that it was a wireless charger and they thought it was just a decoration or a stylish coaster. The company itself claims that it was inspired by this charger Danish furniture.
- construction – fabric, rubber, plastic
- weight – 137 grams
- LED indicator
We must recognize ourselves for the charger it looks premium to luxurious. We’ve had it on the desk next to the computer for a few weeks now, and sometimes we get caught staring at it for a few seconds. It is really a pleasant diversion between all glossy plastic surfaces. The upper part (ie the charging one) is covered gray fabric and rubberwhich, in addition to looking good, has another benefit. The phone, headphones (or anything else you want to charge) do not slide on it. Placing the device on the surface itself is a bit complicated and we got used to it for a few days. If you put the device down even a few millimeters differently, it just doesn’t charge. The manufacturer has decided to sell the charger only in this gray variant, which in our opinion is not a disadvantage. If we had a choice, we would still go into this color. The Moshi Otto Q charger is very light. It weighs only 137 gramsso you can easily carry it and take it with you on trips.
Performance and features
The Moshi Otto Q is definitely not the fastest wireless charger in its price range. Its maximum performance reaches at 10 W. However, it supports the Qi standard, so you can charge basically everything from iPhones to Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei to headphones. The charger itself knows how much energy it can send to the device and thus runs in modes 5, 7,5 a 10 W. You need to keep in mind that if you want to charge with the maximum possible power, you will have to connect it at least to a 10 W adapter. If you charge via a 5 W adapter, you will always get a maximum of 5 W, which makes sense, but you need to keep this in mind.
What pleased us, however, was the Q-coil function that allows charge phones with cases up to 5 mm thick. This technology is equipped with 2.6 mm ferrite foil for more efficient charging. It is also located on the side of the charger LED diode, which occasionally flashes to indicate that the phone is charging. When the device is fully charged, the LED stops blinking completely. There is also a function THAT (detection of foreign objects), which has become standard nowadays.
Price and availability Moshi Otto Q
The Moshi Otto Q wireless charger occasionally appears on Czech e-shops for a price of around CZK 1,100 – 1,400. If you want to order it, you will have to do so from the official Moshi e-shop, where the charger is available for 49.95 EUR, which is approximately 1,300 CZK.
Resumé
As we have mentioned several times, the Moshi Otto Q is not the fastest and by far the cheapest wireless charger on the market. However, it is one of the best processed and most stylish. If you are looking for something that will charge your device but at the same time you want it to look good, we can recommend a heartfelt purchase. We honestly didn’t even need higher performance. First of all, our phone does not support charging higher than 10 W, and when we sit at the computer, we simply put it there and do not decide how long it will take to charge. If we need to go somewhere fast, we will always use faster wire charging anyway.
