The Clubhouse audio-social network will soon arrive on Android as well

Haven’t heard of the Clubhouse social network yet? Not? That’s fine. It is a completely new social network, which was established in April 2020 in America.

Will Clubhouse be a new hit?

It works on the principle of “audio-only”, so you can only interact with users through sound. The basic principle is rooms in which one or a couple of speakers speak and the others listen to them. Alternatively, they can sign up for the floor as if they were in a live conference. There are a few moderators who correct and control the discussion so that people do not shout at each other. Whether you like it or not, this application has caused a decent stir in the world and is already used by the Czech Deník N in the Czech Republic.

Many users describe it as highly addictive and compare it to such a virtual party. This is useful in today’s non-social times, when we can just sit at home. Maybe that’s why the application is currently experiencing such a boom – it connects people from different areas at a distance. I recently saw a description on Facebook in the style:

“You have rooms there that are thematically focused, e.g. business, where successful people (directors, business owners) informally help and advise them to less successful colleagues in the industry. Women there have relationship counseling, content creators share their advice, there are various discussion circles, politics, newspapers, mediation. Any trolls are immediately banned. “

The application also has a few disadvantages – it is not available on Android and if you already have an iPhone, you need an invitation. Colleague Miro has an iPhone, but since he didn’t have an invitation, we didn’t get far.

Twitter and Telegram have their own audio rooms, but since these applications don’t fly very well with us, Clubhouse can shine with us. In addition, the above-mentioned disadvantages will soon disappear, adds Android Central and mentions the statement of the creators of Clubhouse:
