Apple has devised a handy Fit Test for this that checks whether the ear cushions really provide a good seal. You can find this Fit Test by connecting the AirPods to your iPhone and then tapping ‘Settings > AirPods Pro > Fit Test’.

- Take one of the new attachments and look at the shape. Snap the new silicone cap onto the AirPod properly.

As long as you grab the silicone cap as close as possible to the AirPods, you can easily remove them. Don’t forget to detach and replace the attachment of the other AirPods as well.
