macOS Ventura can be installed
Apple is presenting the final version of macOS Ventura this Monday. Mac users now have access to various new features.
Update from October 24, 2022: The Macintosh is now also getting the system update promised by Apple with macOS Ventura (version 13).
Important: Incompatibilities are reported here and there, for example from Epson regarding the support of various printers. If you depend on your Mac, it might be better to wait a few days before installing it.

macOS Ventura (version 13) has still not been finally released by Apple, users are eagerly awaiting the release of the new mega update for the Mac. This can now be expected in the 43rd calendar week. This is the conclusion reached by Apple insider and Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman (source: Bloomberg).
Release of macOS Ventura: Apple plans release in the week of October 24th
To his knowledge, Apple plans to release the new system software in the week beginning October 24, 2022. We also had a similar assumption at the end of September. Background: On Thursday, October 27, Apple will announce the new business figures. Hardware and software news usually follow shortly beforehand. A release on October 24th or October 25th or 26th is therefore obvious.
At the same time as macOS Ventura, iPadOS 16 or iPadOS 16.1 for the iPad should finally be released, and the new iPad Pro 2022 should also only be a few days away from being presented. But when will there be new Macs?
The new Mac system is in intimate company:
New MacBooks only in November
So far, it was assumed that it would be presented more or less at the same time as the iPad Pro 2022, but that shouldn’t happen now. Gurman is currently not assuming that Apple will present new MacBook Pro models with 14- and 16-inch displays in the coming week, for example. With regard to the new notebooks, however, a “launch is planned for the near future”. October is no longer meant, perhaps November. Not an unusual choice for such plans, quite a few new MacBooks have already seen the light of day in the ninth month of the year.
In short: While it may take some time with new Macs, the official release of macOS Ventura should not be missed by anyone who owns a Mac. Depending on the computer model, the Mac may not be more than a few years old, the hardware requirements are increasing – we reported.
