iOS 16 comes with many new fun features
Did you know that iOS 16 has a limit of 200 lock screens? It takes quite a bit of effort to achieve that and you probably get tired of some lockscreens much earlier. It’s high time to clean up a bit.
How to remove the lock screen from iOS 16
Of course, after the iOS 16 update, you immediately started designing your best personal lockscreens on your iPhone. Unfortunately you have to go through all the previous home screens swipe to get to your latest creations. When the swiping gets tedious, it’s time to remove some of your iOS 16 lockscreens.
- Open and hold the lock screen;
- Swipe to the lock screen you want to remove;
- Swipe up this lockscreen and tap the red trash can icon;
- Choose the ‘Remove this background’ option.
So it is quite easy to remove a lock screen in iOS 16, but it is not self-evident. Apple should actually put a clear delete button so that you can throw away the lockscreens more easily. It would also be nice to have an option that allows you to remove multiple of these lockscreens in iOS 16 at the same time.
