4 coolest gadgets
Not everyone is already familiar with the principle of crowdfunding, and that is normal. It’s still a relatively new concept, but one that can help creative people make a difference. You first support a great idea for a product, and then you can follow the progress until the package arrives at your door. These are the four coolest gadgets on crowdfunding websites.

1. Moona 2 – smart cooling for your pillow
For who is it?
For those who sleep badly due to heat in bed
What is it?
The temperature in bed has a major impact on our ability to fall asleep. The Moona 2 wants to give you more control over the temperature of your pillow, because the temperature around your head has the most influence on your actual heat sensation.
The device is two-piece and consists on the one hand of a pad that you slide into your pillowcase and a device for operation on your bedside table. The Moona 2 can automatically provide a pleasant coolness to your pillow and the temperature is also further regulated during your sleep. You can also manually adjust the cooling. In addition, you can also set a schedule for the cooling so that your pillow is already cool when you go to sleep.
The base station on your bedside table also works with the Google Assistant and the accompanying app also analyzes your sleep quality. You can easily take the Moona 2 with you on holiday when you visit even warmer places.

4. Ovomote – Versatile Touchscreen Remote Control
For who is it?
Before we want a remote control for all devices
What is it?
The Ovomote goes a few steps further than the average universal remote control. It works not only with the different brands of TVs, but also with smart home devices and game consoles. So you can, among other things, adjust the color and brightness of smart lamps, zap on your TV, switch on the Nintendo Switch and turn the soundbar down a bit.
The makers of the Ovomote have opted for a touchscreen control, because you get the right layout of virtual buttons for every application. This remote control does come in combination with a hub with which it is connected via bluetooth and wifi. The hub also serves as a wireless charger, as the Ovomote needs a charge once every 10 days. Finally, the Remote also offers support for the Google Assistant.
- blackcoffee.io – Kickstarter – 112 euros incl. shipping – expected in March 2023.
Think of this with crowdfunding
Keep in mind that with crowdfunding you always support an idea in the first place, with no real guarantee that the actual product will meet your expectations. So choose the projects and start-ups that you really believe in and follow the regular updates on development and shipping that the start-ups communicate. Supporting projects through crowdfunding is therefore not the same as shopping.
What do you think of the above products? Have you ever ordered products through crowdfunding? Did that lead to positive experiences or were there also disappointments? Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.
