This is what the new emojis look like

A decision will be made on new emojis in September, and the candidates have now been determined. Even though they will continue to look different on Android, iOS and desktop, it’s worth taking a look at the upcoming chat icons right now. In addition to new hearts, there is finally a real moose.

About the meanwhile 15th version of emoji will be decided in September. Now there is a list of candidates that, in all likelihood, will be fully adopted. At least that’s how it was in the past. The portal Emojipedia has taken the trouble to compile the candidates in the iOS version. As usual, they should look a little different on Android and Windows.

There will be no really groundbreaking emojis with the new update, since the existing list is already very extensive. At least they should Hearts in three new color variations be possible and a shaking face is also a candidate. Added to this is a defensive hand in many skin tones. It may be some time before the new emojis arrive on smartphones and notebooks. The manufacturers of operating systems have to distribute updates first. The new symbols will probably do the trick only in 2023 on our devices.

Twitter: Emoji usage has risen sharply

According to research by Emojipedia, emojis continue to be the most popular. At Twitter are now 22.4 percent of all tweets provided with at least one emoji, which means a new record. The tears of joy emoji has been the most used emoji on the platform in recent years, but has since been superseded by the Loudly Crying Face icon.
