Samsung moves rollout data Android 11 for the Netherlands: update delayed
The rollout of Android 11 in the Netherlands has been delayed for various Samsung devices. This means bad news for the Galaxy Z Fold models and the Galaxy S10 series, among others. What has changed?
Android 11 for S10 is coming later
Samsung has already released the update to Android 11 for several devices in recent weeks. Think of the Note 20 series, S20 series and various other models. In the coming months, various devices will also receive the update to Android 11 with One UI 3.0. Now it becomes clear that this data has been adjusted. For example, there is a postponement for the Galaxy S10 series and the foldable Z Fold models.
The Android 11 update for the Galaxy S10 series was originally expected this month. That doesn’t seem to be happening now. According to the new overview, the update will come to the Galaxy S10, S10 + and S10e in February. It has been available for the Galaxy S10 Lite since this month. For the owners of the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Fold 2, the update also comes a month later, which means that it should also be rolled out in February. There is also a delay for the Note 10 and Note 10+, also February instead of January.
However, not all information in the list is correct. For example, the update has been available for the Z Flip and S20 FE for a long time, and it is still in that list before February 2021. In recent times we also saw that Samsung released updates earlier than Samsung had promised before, so we certainly do not rule out that all updates actually come later. In several countries, the rollout of Android 11 has already started for the Galaxy S10 series, so we can still expect it this month.
We will keep you informed! If you receive the update on your smartphone, let us know for sure, along with a screenshot!
