Gold Leaf: A refreshing treatment for potted and garden plants
Blattgold fertilizer blankets consist exclusively of organic fertilizer and natural fiber cellulose to provide plants with nutrients, vitamins and minerals in a sustainable manner. For a continuous supply, they act directly on the plant roots.

BASIC thinking: Hello Sabine, you are part of the twelfth season of “Die Höhle der Löwen”. How does that feel?
I am very proud of my gold leaf fertilizer cloths, which made it into the VOX start-up show “The Lion’s Den”.
What makes your product so special?
The gold leaf fertilizer cloths are cloths dipped in liquid fertilizer that are wrapped around the root ball of the plant to provide them with optimal nutrients. The plant then only has to be watered and is perfectly cared for.
They are very easy to use and the result is super convincing. The gold leaf fertilizer cloths are also suitable for all potted plants and cut flowers.
Gold leaf fertilizer cloths: the idea and the concept
How did you come up with the idea and concept of gold leaf?
I grew up in my grandmother’s beautiful cottage garden. She was a great gardener and always had the most beautiful flowers, most fruit and the biggest potatoes. Grandma’s secret recipe was her way of fertilizing.
She buried sacks of potatoes with horse manure in the beds. The plants were thus permanently fertilized and the crop yields proved her right. I adopted this idea of permanent fertilization for the gold leaf fertilizer cloths and healthy, strong plants speak for themselves here too.

How did you end up on The Lion’s Den?
We spun something at my girlfriends’ coffee gossip. My kids thought the idea was cool, so I applied. Gold leaf is “my baby” and of course I try everything to make sure that “the baby” is fine, it grows and thrives.
What was on your mind just before your pitch?
Why do I do this? What have I got myself into? I was incredibly excited.
And how was it then?
Very relaxed and very professional.
What has happened to you and Blattgold since filming and participating?
The gold leaf fertilizer cloths are available nationwide in stores and of course online. Our level of awareness has increased immensely as a result of the show.
And what happens now? What are the next steps?
We continue to work on bringing the fertilizer cloths into every household and are already considering other products that make life more beautiful.
Looking back, how do you rate your experience at The Lion’s Den?
Manno man, it’s a lot of work to finish a show like this. Very, very exciting and worth every second.
