7 Pokemon Mysteries No One Can Explain To This Day

The world of Pokémon is full of secrets and mysteries. Despite the long existence of the franchise, there are still incidents that remain unsolved to this day. We present seven of them to you in the following photo gallery.

The Pokémon franchise is now huge: there are scarce 900 pocket monsters, eight regions and tons of games like anime episodes that take a closer look at the fantastic world of beings. But there are also a few in the pile of concentrated Poké information Curiosities that were never really explained. Even Game Freak will probably not be able to answer the following questions.

Is the graceful Fire-type Pokémon, Arcani more than just a basic Pokemon? This could speak for it: In the first season of the anime, Ash brings Pikachu into the Poké Center after it was attacked by a swarm of Habitaks. There’s an old picture hanging on the wall that shows you three legendary bird Pokémon – Articuno, Lavados, and Zaptos. But one of the monsters pictured is Arcane— but why? Even the Golden Edition Pokédex entry says: “This legendary Chinese Pokémon is revered for its beauty. Mainly because of the mane.” Strange.

In an episode in the anime, Jesse is hit by a Poké Ball. What follows is a pained face the antagonist and bright lights: she appears to be obviously being electrocuted. Does this only happen to humans or do Pokemon have to face this pain too? each sit out, when they need to get back into the Pokéball? According to the electric mouse itself, there is at least one other reason why Pikachu doesn’t want to get into his Pokéball.

Ever since the beginning of the Pokémon franchise, fans have wondered about Ash’s sire: Who is this mysterious man? In the three-soul village that Ash calls his home, there is at least not much choice for his mother: her mime, who creepily comes along on family vacations and does the household chores, and Professor Oak. So either Ash’s dad ran away or his mom has one Fondness for clown monsters and old professors. In the games, too, the protagonist usually has to do without a father figure. They all just went to get some Pokéballs.

Everything we know about the evolution of Flegmon into Slow-Mouse is questionable: A flegmon “evolves” into lame when a mushas bites and won’t let go while fishing with its tail. Then it injects its poison into the lazy Pokémon. From that moment on, it is considered a lame: it acts as a host for the biting clam and now has to swim to find food. Only a few questions remain unanswered: Why doesn’t the mussel look like a mushas at all – does the pokédex lie? And how is it that some are bitten in the head, as in the case of Laschoking? Does Flegmon fish with his tail, head or arm, depending on his mood? Come on, Flegmon.

Gym leaders shouldn’t the crème de la crème of Pokémon trainers being? Then why can you just defeat every single one of them as a 13-year-old rookie? Perhaps they are particularly considerate when dealing with children. Or you can just play little geniuses in the art of Pokémon battles. However, the gym leaders rarely have to offer serious challenges, especially in the last generations. You can ask yourself whether the ladder intentionally withhold or just bad at their job.

Appears in the anime episode “The Mysterious Lighthouse”. a giant dragonite out of the mist. To this day it is not entirely clear how it got so big and what the monster is all about. Maybe it was a first hint of Gigantamax Pokémon and Dragonite came all the way from the Galar region only to be viciously attacked by Team Rocket – poor thing.

In the player’s home is up to Pokémon Sun and Moon only A BED in the protagonist’s family home – your own. So your mother apparently sleeps on the living room couch for the first few games, in the same bed as you or whatever with the nice professor next door. Who knows that exactly?
