Lego technology is also available in life-size – for example in the form of mobile pedestals made of thousands and thousands of stones.

The fact that Lego projects can also involve numerous technical gadgets is nothing new. Whether robots building houses of cards or roadworthy Lamborghinis in mini format: Both ambitious inventors and the company itself have long recognized that the small components in connection with technical elements meet with great enthusiasm.

Once again, however, a Lego team has now completed a real mammoth project: With a total of 23 crew members, a life-size replica of the Lego Toyota GR Supra is said to have been created, which is actually drivable.

This is not the first time that Lego is building a life-size mobile model

Lego had already taken the step to build life-size cars in 2018; the one manufactured at the time in collaboration with Bugatti Bugatti Cheron was made in the Legofactory in Kupna in the Czech Republic and was also roadworthy. According to Lego, the top speed of the replica with more than 100,000 components was just over 20 kilometers per hour at the time, racing driver Andy Wallace tested the replica on the Ehra-Lessien site near Wolfsburg.

In June 2021, a crew from the toy manufacturer produced the life-size Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 – more than 400,000 Lego technology parts were installed, and a total of 15 people worked on the project for around 8,660 hours. However, the Lamborghini replica was not designed to actually drive.
