Not everyone is already familiar with the principle of crowdfunding, and that is also normal. It’s still a relatively new concept, but one that can help creative people make a difference. You first support a great idea for a product, and then you can follow the progress until the package arrives at your door. These are the four coolest gadgets on crowdfunding websites.
1. Iceberg Crystal – ferrofluid speaker

No one asked for it, but a cool gadget, that’s for sure. The Iceberg Crystal is a speaker that has a round window at the front. Behind it is a ferrofluid, a liquid that contains magnetic particles. Using an electromagnet, the Iceberg Crystal makes this liquid dance to the rhythm of the music you play.

What is it?
The iceberg speaker from above brings us seamlessly to the IcyFlow. It keeps you cool for six hours on its battery, but it is also more than just a portable air conditioner. The device also works as an LED lamp, an 18,400 mAh power bank, a wireless charger, a Bluetooth speaker and a mosquito repellent. In other words, it is a device that will help you through the summer during warm outings.
You can operate the IcyFlow via touch buttons and charging works via USB-C. The power output can also work via USB-C, but you can also connect a 230V plug directly. Finally, the makers explain on Kickstarter that the air conditioner is relatively quiet and works with a noise of 42db.

What is it?
The Heisr should take electric teeth brushing to the next level. The mechanical brushes sweep completely around the teeth, making the Heisr more effective than a regular electric toothbrush. It also uses sonic vibration technology to thoroughly remove food particles and plaque with the bristles.
In addition, the attachment of the Heisr rotates with the mouth so that brushing remains comfortable. There are modes to clean your teeth, whiten them and massage your gums to make it healthier. And according to the makers, brushing your teeth is not only more thorough compared to a normal toothbrush, but you are also done faster. That’s because it cleans in three directions at once.

Keep in mind that crowdfunding is always primarily supporting an idea, with no real guarantee that the actual product will meet your expectations. So choose the projects and start-ups that you really believe in and follow the regular development and shipping updates that the start-ups communicate. Supporting projects through crowdfunding is therefore not the same as shopping.
