You first support a great idea for a product and then you can follow the progress until the package arrives at your door. These are the four coolest gadgets on crowdfunding websites.

Do you work long hours at the office and feel a little guilty about your furry friend(s) at home? If you are a cat owner, you can now get help. Of course nothing is as good – and essential – as a human’s attention, but for a few hours a day you can put the O Sitter to work. It monitors your cat’s well-being and can even make videos and send them to you when there’s activity (cats still sleep most of the day, so the cat sitter isn’t too busy). What is it?
Philips is working with Kokoon on an AI sleep headset. The device is intended both to get you to sleep and to keep you asleep. They are earplugs that ensure that noise around you becomes silence and you can use it in combination with audio books to lull yourself to sleep, among other things. Think of this with crowdfunding
Keep in mind that crowdfunding is always primarily supporting an idea, with no real guarantee that the actual product will meet your expectations. So choose the projects and start-ups that you really believe in and follow the regular development and shipping updates that the start-ups communicate. Supporting projects through crowdfunding is therefore not the same as shopping.
