32-inch iMac is coming (but we already want it)
Apple stopped production of the large iMac (27 inch) in 2022, but a new iMac is now coming! According to rumors, Apple is currently planning a 32-inch iMac.
Read on after the ad.
New iMac with 32 inch
According to generally reliable Apple expert Mark Gurman, Apple is currently experimenting with larger iMacs. There is also an iMac with a screen of about 32 inches.
Gurman said in his newsletter that these larger iMacs will be a while away. According to the Apple expert, you can only order them at the end of 2024 or even at the beginning of 2025.
Gurman said earlier that Apple will come with a large iMac, but then the rumor was that this new all-in-one will come with a 30-inch screen. That screen turns out to be a bit bigger.
In fact, the screen has the same dimensions as the Apple Pro Display XDR monitor. This screen appeared in December 2019 and is currently for sale from 5499 euros. It goes without saying that an iMac with a 32 inch is even more expensive.
iMac with M3 chip
Currently, the 24-inch iMac is the only all-in-one computer sold by Apple. The current model with the M1 chip appeared in April 2021. Gurman expects an updated model with a faster M3 chip than to be released early next year.
All current Apple silicon chips are produced based on a 5nm process. The M3 chip is expected to be made using a 3nm process. This then provides significant performance and efficiency improvements.
