PlayStation fans from the very beginning will get involved Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on your costs. Although the platformer was no longer developed by the original creators Naughty Dog, it still did damn well for the release in 2020 – both with fans and with the press (GIGA rating: 8.5/10). The meta score is 85, the user score is 8.1 points (source: Metacritic).
Are you more interested in an interactive film like Heavy Rain with horror elements? Then could The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan be just right for you. In the game, you take turns taking on the role of 5 friends who make an exciting discovery on their diving trip, but which could cost them their lives – but that’s entirely up to you (GIGA rating: 7/10 points). By the way, you can play the game too together with friends in couch co-op gamble.
In Arcadegeddon you explore the game world of the co-op shooter together with your friends and compete with each other in mini-games. In addition to PvE elements, there are also some passages in the game where you compete against other real players.
However, it is questionable whether enough players will come together for this. Because Arcadegeddon was able to attract very little attention at the start in summer 2021 and was also rather moderately received by the players. The user score on Metacritic is 5.3 points (Source: Metacritic).
The games are available for those who have PlayStation+ in the classic Essential tier, and of course for higher tiers as well. As always, you have to secure them once and you can continue to install and play the games as you wish – but only if or as long as your PS+ subscription is active.
