Tonight it’s that time again. People take to the streets dressed in scary clothes. They ring your doorbell and pronounce the magic words: ‘candy or your life’. You want to give your life, but the ghost and the witch standing at your door still demand candy. In short: it’s Halloween again.

In recent years, a lot of time and effort has been put into making Halloween costumes. One transforms into a charming devil with all kinds of make-up, the other wraps himself in thirty toilet rolls and is the most beautiful mummy. The party in the Netherlands is getting bigger and bigger, and more and more people are taking to the streets. For people who like the Halloween theme, but prefer to show off the troll in themselves, there is the Halloween Photo Editor. With this app you can easily turn yourself into a zombie, witch or other ‘scary’ creature. You don’t have to dress up though, don’t go outside, but can still share a Halloween photo of yourself, ideal.

The Halloween Photo Editor is a simple photo editor to give your photos a Halloween theme. Don’t expect Photoshop-like skills, but ‘just’ simple frames, backgrounds and stickers that can give your photo a ghostly feeling.

Using the app is easy. First, you choose a photo to edit. Then you can add various ghostly eyes, mouths, scars or hats to this photo. Then if you find the photo scary enough, you can choose a matching frame or other type of Halloween related frame. And done, you have a Halloween photo. A zombie can do the laundry!

The app also gives you the option to take a new photo, or to edit a current photo. It also offers the option to blur a photo so that you can create a kind of ghost effect. Unfortunately this works a little less well. The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
