Yamaha e-bikes in the store this year
Outside the established brands, you can also ride Yamaha e-bikes. They are coming to the store this year.
Gazelle, Batavus, but also Moof and Cowboy. Just a few well-known brands in the world of e-bikes. But maybe you want something different. A well-known brand of motorcycles, among other things, is launching its own e-bikes in the store this year, namely Yamaha!
Yamaha Motor Europe will focus on electric mobility. The company has announced two new electric scooters, e-bikes and its own moped. The latter is a speed pedelec. Yamaha has been supplying parts for e-bikes for years, but is launching three of its own models this year. The electric bicycles will be marketed in the All Mountain, Gravel and Urban segment. Given Yamaha’s experience, the competition can wet its chest. The company has delivered around 7 million units of electric drive units for e-bikes over the past three decades.
Yamaha will announce more about this in the summer. The company’s e-bikes will be available through Yamaha’s Powered Two Wheeler network at the end of 2022 and through its European distribution network in 2023. Also cool is the B01, a new hybrid prototype. The thing combines the eBike S-Pedelec principle with moped performance. According to Yamaha, the moped is back and in this form put in a modern sauce.
