A new budget-friendly smartphone from Xiaomi is coming. It concerns the Xiaomi Redmi A1, a smartphone that will be equipped with excellent specifications for a device from the cheaper class.

We see a new smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. Soon we can expect the announcement of the Xiaomi Redmi A1, not to be confused with the previously released Xiaomi Mi A1. The phone can now be seen in several teasers, and a live photo of the device has also surfaced. What will this affordable phone offer?

The Redmi A1 will get a 6.52 inch display with an HD+ resolution. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, along with a 5000 mAh battery that can be charged with the 10W charger. There is a slot for a memory card and we also see a 3.5 millimeter port for a headset on the Redmi A1. Xiaomi supplies the smartphone with an 8 megapixel main camera, with an additional 2MP lens. On the front is a 5 megapixel front camera and of course the Xiaomi Redmi A1 comes with Android 12.

In a teaser that Xiaomi has shared itself, it talks about a design with leather texture. What this exactly means is unfortunately not entirely clear, but Xiaomi may have found a way to make a cheap device look a bit more luxurious. According to sources, the phone will be announced worldwide.
