Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Watch 3 and Redmi Buds 3 Lite headphones

Together with the new Redmi Note 11 smartphones, the company introduced Xiaomi also a new smart watch Redmi Watch 3 and cheap TWS headphones Redmi Buds 3 Lite. The information was provided by the portal GSMArena.

The new smart watch has a similar square design with a power button on the right side as the popular Apple Watch. The plastic body meets the certification of 5 ATM (50 m), so the watch is also suitable for swimming. Compared to the previous generation, the display has a larger diagonal of 1.6 ″ and uses more advanced AMOLED technology instead of IPS. The display resolution is 320 x 360 pixels.

The Apollo 3.5 chipset takes care of the system operation. The watch can measure a total of 117 sports activities, including with the help of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou navigation systems. A heart rate and blood oxygenation (SpO2) sensor is available to measure health functions. An NFC chip for mobile payments is also present, but don’t expect Google Pay support.

On a single charge using the magnetic connector, the watch can stay charged for up to 12 days. The body weighing 31 grams will be available in three colors. Silicone strap even in up to 6 colors. The Redmi Watch 2 will go on sale on November 11 for the price of 54 euros. For the first buyers, the price should be reduced to 47 euros.

Redmi Buds 3 Lite

The new TWS headphones Redmi Buds 3 Lite should cost only 14 euros on the Chinese market, which is half the amount as in the case of Redmi AirDots 3 Pro. Compared to the Pro version, they also have a lower endurance of 18 hours (Pro model 28 hours). Ambient noise cancellation (ANC) and wireless charging are also missing. On the other hand, there is a Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C connector and IP54 rain resistance.

Competition

Redmi Watch 2 can compete with only a small number of smart watches. The competition is, for example, the Amazfit GTS 2. However, if the customer pays extra, he can reach for a much more advanced smart watch, such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
