Apple puts a line through iPod (touch)

It’s over for the iPod touch. Apple confirmed last week that the music player will be discontinued. With that, the last iPod dies, almost 21 years after the first model appeared.

You can still buy the device, but only while supplies last. The iPod touch was the last model Apple sold. It was last updated in 2019.

iPhone 15 will probably get a USB-C connection

For a long time it seemed unlikely, but Apple is working behind the scenes on an iPhone with a USB-C connection. That is the claim of Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple insider.

According to Kuo, the iPhone 15, which will be released next year, will switch to USB-C. This is a remarkable step, given that the company has always stuck to its own Lighting connection.

Apple Pay is now available for ASN Bank and RegioBank customers

Do you bank with ASN or RegioBank? Then we have good news, because you can use Apple Pay since last week. Apple’s payment service has been available in the Netherlands since 2019.

Customers of SNS, just like ASN and RegioBank part of de Volksbank, will have to be patient for a while. They can start using Apple Pay from next Tuesday.
