WhatsApp will soon allow you to listen to voice messages anywhere in the app
Voice messages in the application WhatsApp have evolved in recent months, and soon the service should allow them to listen in the background anywhere in the app. The information was provided by the portal AndroidPolice.
The new feature appeared 3 months ago in the beta version of the iOS application
WhatsApp has recently focused on improving voicemails and adding new opportunities. For example, users can control the playback speed and listen to it before sending. The way they are displayed will soon be even better. Their playback controls will be displayed anywhere in the application.
This news was noticed by some users 3 months ago in the beta version of the iOS application. The same feature for Android was already in development at the time, but we can see what it will look like today. Screenshot showing the ability to listen to voice memos anywhere WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.3.1 showed the portal WABetaInfo.
How will the feature work?
As you can see below in the screenshot, when you start listening to a voice memo and return to the list of conversations, WhatsApp displays a new transparent bar above it. This includes the ability to pause, resume, or cancel the voice memo. Thanks to this, you can engage in classic text communication with your contacts while listening to it.
Unfortunately, the feature is still under development and will probably be available to a wider range of beta testers in selected regions before being released in a stable version of the Android application. We will of course inform you about its official launch.
