WhatsApp gets undo function
Good news for anyone who sometimes deletes a WhatsApp message on their iPhone and immediately regrets it. The chat service will soon come with a handy undo function.
WhatsApp undo
Have you ever deleted a message in a chat by tapping “Delete for myself” instead of “Delete for everyone”?” Or just accidentally deleted a completely wrong message? That will soon no longer be a problem, because you can simply undo it.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently rolling out the undo feature for iOS beta version 22.18.0.70. If you don’t have the beta version, you’ll have to be patient. And even if you do have that version, it may still take a while. WhatsApp is rolling out the undo function step by step.

Undo
In a regular chat you can by default delete a message from yourself for yourself, or for everyone. Deleting a message from your chat partner is of course not possible and will remain so. The undo only applies to messages from yourself. This is useful if you accidentally deleted a message just for yourself, rather than everyone else.
Delete everything
In addition to the WhatsApp undo feature, there will also be a new option for chat group administrators. They can now delete all messages from and for everyone. This information also comes from WABetaInfo. It also applies that it may take a while before you can use it.
If you want to quickly check whether the feature is already available on your iPhone, try deleting a recent message from a group member from a group where you are an admin. If the “Delete for everyone” option appears, it means you can use the feature. Thanks to this feature, group admins can finally better manage their WhatsApp groups.
By the way, it will be visible to all group members when you delete a message for everyone as an administrator.
