Apple releases iOS 16.5 beta 3
With the approaching iOS 17 update, it is expected that iOS 16.5 will not be a major update and iOS 16.5 beta 3 confirms that. The third test version for iOS 16.5 has been released today and the beta contains no major changes. We do know that Siri will get a new function in iOS 16.5. In addition, a new window will be added in the Apple News app in the upcoming iOS update. In this new window all current sports news is shown. You will hardly notice this addition in the Netherlands and Belgium, because Apple News is still not available here. So there will probably be no major changes to your iPhone with iOS 16.5 in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Latest iOS 16 update for iOS 17
iOS 16.5 will probably be the last iOS 16 update, because Apple will present iOS 17 in June. At first it seemed that iOS 17 would not be a major update due to the presentation of the Apple Reality. However, recent rumors contradict this, for example, the control panel for your iPhone will be completely renewed in iOS 17. A completely new Diary app will also come to your iPhone with the new iOS version.
So the new iOS 16.5 beta has few new features, but iOS 17 does get a number of cool new apps and updates. iOS 17 will be announced on June 5 at Apple’s WWDC.
