What about Squid Game Season 2?
After the blood-curdling first season, the eyes are on part 2 of Squid Game. What is the status of this?
Although the series dominated the top 10 of Netflix in the Netherlands for weeks, opinions were quite divided. One is very pleased with the show, while another couldn’t even finish it out of disgust. The fact is that the new series Squad Game has brought something about. You can safely call it the most talked-about Netflix series of 2021.
We won’t say spoilers if you still haven’t seen the series, but the ending isn’t a closed book. The makers have thus kept a door open for a possible sequel. It has been quiet about this for a long time, but writer and director Hwang Dong-hyuk has said something to KBS. He says that there will probably not only be a second season, but also a third season of the show.
A season 2 and 3, diehard fans of Squid Game will undoubtedly be happy with that. There is no confirmation from Netflix yet, but the director will probably not be talking nonsense. Dong-hyuk states that a conclusion will soon follow. The interview is a second confirmation that there will indeed be a season 2 of Squid Game. Earlier this year, the director confirmed this.
