Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S23 series with One UI 5.1. The new version of the skin is equipped with various improvements and optimizations. In a new video, the new skin is placed next to One UI 5. What exactly has changed?

One UI 5.1 vs One UI 5

With the arrival of the Galaxy S23 series, there is also a new version of Samsung’s proprietary software layer; OneUI 5.1. In the near future, more devices from the Korean manufacturer will be updated with an update to this new skin. But what exactly is different about the new layer? The colleagues of Sammobile show this nicely in a new video that you can watch below. In some cases there are major differences, in other cases minor adjustments.

For example, it concerns improved animations, which in turn provide improvements in the user experience. Various adjustments to the interface and the design of the skin are also being examined. For example, One UI 5.1 not only contains the new widget, other things are sometimes slightly different.

It is unknown when Samsung will update other devices with One UI 5.1. We suspect that more information will be released about this in the coming months.
