Unloved console gets one last game
Not every console from Nintendo is a gigantic success! The Wii U was a colossal flop. Despite this, the console, believed dead, is still getting new games. We explain to you what the probably last Wii U game is all about.
The Wii U says goodbye with a horror game
The Wii U no longer plays a role for Nintendo since the release of the switch in 2017 at the latest. However, the console is not really dead – at least not yet!
Because February of this year is still one last game for the flopped console released: Silver Falls White Inside Its Umbra, a horror survival game.
And this is not cheap trash, but apparently a little gem of the genrewhich is currently getting a surprising amount of attention on Reddit:
As you can easily see in the photo, The horror game uses the Wii U’s tablet-like controllerto simulate a smartphone. Pretty cool idea!
The concept is so well received by the community that that some Reddit users want an implementation for the switch. But that will probably remain a dream.
Silver Falls is only available for a limited time
On the question, Is the game worth it?the thread creator replied as follows:
“If you don’t mind low-budget horror games, it’s pretty good. I haven’t gotten far enough to give a fair review, but I just love how cool the use of the gamepad is in this game. It’s a cool experience.” (Reddit user SonicEchoes)
By the way, if you’ve gotten the urge to play the unusual game yourself and own a Wii U, then unfortunately we have to disappoint you. Silver Falls White Inside Its Umbra was only released on the North American eShop and even then it will only be available for two more weeks.
After all, Nintendo is providing service for the Wii U and 3DS March 27, 2023 finally one. After that it will no longer be possible to buy anything digitally via these consoles!
