Try the handy Creations in the Google Photos app

This is despite the fact that the service has recently introduced new, stricter storage rules.

If you use this app from time to time, you have probably noticed several options for editing photos and videos. Many functions have been added during the last year. In any case, editing one file in Google Photos is pretty good. But did you know the application also offers several forms of combinations of photos or videos? The content created in this way is called directly Creations, and Google competes with the functions mentioned below in applications that users previously had to reach for due to more advanced editing or more creative creation. So what does this section offer?

Creations in Google Photos

There are two ways to access the following tools. The first way is the middle Search tab in the bottom menu. As you scroll down, you’ll see the Creations section and in it individual tools plus a viewer of already “assembled” works. The second option is to find the Tools button on the third Library tab and then select from the Create selected function section. The tools can be started directly from both places.

Animation

Basically a primitive tool that turns selected frames into animations by putting them together. So, for example, if you have taken a sequence of consecutive photos (which cannot be combined in a normal editor), you can combine them here. The output format is GIF.

Collages

Graphic style, due to which many people still download additional applications to their mobile phones. Instagram, for example, has its own ability to compose, but it is certainly good that we can also find collages in Google Photos. After selecting photos, the algorithm automatically composes the collage, which may not always be the best. It seems that back-editing may not be, which is a shame.

Movies

Even because of this content, all sorts of editing applications go to phones. Unfortunately, this is exactly the cause of hacker attacks and malware problems. So before you go looking for another tool to create a movie from photos and videos, try the one in the Google Photos app. It works reliably, just don’t expect any effects games. You can insert the content into the film yourself, or leave it to artificial intelligence and photo analysis within thematic templates.
