Top Selling Tablets: This manufacturer sold the most
Coronavirus has certainly contributed to the increased interest in tablets. Children have moved from schools to households, and it may have been more advantageous for poorer families to buy a tablet than a laptop. Parents also moved home from their offices and tablets allowed them to be even more mobile than with a laptop. So let’s look at which tablets were the best-selling. The source of the article is Lenovo’s press release.
The best-selling tablets were from Lenovo
Lenovo is the third largest retailer in the world, but it is the first in Slovakia and dominates the tablet segment. At 54.9%, they sold more than twice as many tablets in the second quarter of this year as Apple. It has only a 22% share.
A closer look at the chart shows that Lenovo has dominated the tablet segment throughout the pandemic. There is no indication that this will not happen in the future.
By the way, see the Tablets section on Heureke, Lenovo has three models in the TOP 5. This confirms the high interest in tablets from this manufacturer.
However, on the other hand, it is necessary to look at the price – it is about half compared to competing devices (Apple, Samsung). As a result, if we looked at sales, Apple and Samsung would probably earn more. Low price sells quantities, does not guarantee profits.
