Three more episodes of Call of Duty -apkrig should be released on PlayStation
One of the first responses to Microsoft’s announcement of interest in buying Activision Blizzard for less than $ 70 billion was a question from players and the media about the exclusivity of big multiplatform titles. Although it was clear in advance that Microsoft would not go against the previously signed contracts, and the games that are currently being developed will most likely also arrive on the PlayStation, it was no longer so clear about future titles. As in the case of Bethesda, various forms of exclusivity could easily occur, which could also affect brands such as Call of Duty. However, Jason Schreier reports on the Bloomberg website in a positive light and reassures the player that, according to reports from his sources, at least the next three games in the Call of Duty series will not leave the multiplatform publishing model.

“According to four people who are familiar with this information and have spoken anonymously because they are not authorized to speak to the press, Activision has pledged to make the next few games of the Call of Duty series available on Sony’s console before the news of last week $ 69 billion acquisition, ”says Schreier. The deal is to include this year’s Call of Duty by Infinity Ward, which will most likely be a sequel to Modern Warfare, the next installment from Treyarch, and last but not least, a new iteration of Call of Duty: Warzone.
As for longer-term plans, Bloomberg does not provide any more specific details. With the acquisition due in the next six to eighteen months, there is still plenty of room to devise the most appropriate strategy. At the same time, it may not only reflect the potential drop in revenue if the game, in the case of exclusivity, would appeal only to PC and Xbox players, but also to the attitude of regulators, who could see monopoly in such a step. Undoubtedly, the speculating interest in extending the development cycle of individual parts and not issuing Call of Duty every year, which is mentioned by insiders, will also enter into decision-making.
Of course, it is also worth noting the recent statements of Microsoft, which literally desires after Call of Duty was based on a competitive platform, which, however, implied some unspecified condition. On the other hand, Phil Spencer also mentioned good relations with Sony and positive negotiations, so everything else will be decided by time.
