1. Pikmin Bloom
This week’s popular game is of course Pikmin Bloom. Niantic (the makers of Pokémon Go) have once again teamed up with Nintendo. A game has been released that is based on Pikmin: a game that you may remember from the Nintendo Wii or the Nintendo Switch.
The game (at the moment) feels a bit sparse. Instead of throwing Pokéballs or completing battles for certain locations like in Pokémon Go, Pikmin Bloom’s main focus is on walking. It makes your daily walk a lot less boring and Pikmin Bloom is nice enough to pick up in between.
Keep an eye on the battery of your iPhone, because it runs out a lot faster when you let the game run in the background. Maybe it’s time for a new iPhone 13 Pro Max with its hefty battery charge?
2. Artifact – 3D Puzzle
Are you a fan of puzzles? Then try Artifact. The game takes its inspiration from Kintsugi, also known as Kintsukuroi. This is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics.
Artifact has 40 puzzles with five different themes. The gameplay is simple as all you do is drag the shards to the right place. Still, putting the broken pots and pitchers back together is quite challenging. Give it a try, who knows, you may have missed a calling in Kintsugi!

3. Transformers Tactical Arena
Can’t get enough of the Transformers either? And especially the original robots from the cartoon series of the 80s? Then Transformers Tactical Arena is made for you.
In the game you put together a team of Transformers and all your favorites join in. From the Autobot leader Optimus Prime to Dinobot Grimlock and from Bumblebee to Jazz. You will also see favorites such as SoundWave and StarScream at the Decepticons. After you have found a team, you compete (realtime) against other players. This will unlock new robots and arenas. You also unlock more and more new skills and, even more fun, your team can actually transform into their alternate form. What are you waiting for? Transform and roll out! Pay attention: This game requires a subscription to Apple Arcade.

4. Super Mombo Quest
The game Super Mombo Quest reminds you in the beginning of the old 16-bit games of the Super Nintendo. You play a small, well what is it? Let’s stick to a purple monster.
In the game you go through level after level to score the perfect combo. When you defeat an enemy a timer will start and before the time runs out you must try to defeat all enemies in a combo. In the beginning it is super simple, but after a few levels it becomes quite difficult to complete the combo. Graphically the game is very cool and especially the animations look good. For the persistent!

5. Gorillas – Groceries
No, this is not Gorillaz’s messaging service. It is a new app to have groceries delivered at home. Handy if you have an unexpected visitor or have forgotten one of your important ingredients. This is not new, but Gorillas guarantees that your order will be at your door within fifteen minutes.
The app itself is free and the products in the app are not or hardly more expensive than in the store. For each order you pay € 1.80 in delivery costs. There is no minimum or maximum order amount. However, the delivery costs for orders under 10 euros are higher.
