This practical function gives you lifetime
As a customer of o2, the mobile phone and Internet provider’s app is part of the standard equipment on the smartphone. But there is one function that only a few people know about, but it has great potential and can make your everyday life easier.
Although apps like “Mein o2” – or the counterparts from other providers – offer practically all the functions that customers need in everyday life, it can sometimes be necessary to contact the provider directly.

o2 app: This is how you save yourself waiting time
This can be done by e-mail or, more and more often, by messenger, but if you want or have to have direct contact by phone, it becomes difficult. As practically everywhere, it is also felt at o2 insurmountable wall of the queue between consumers on the one hand and customer advisors on the other.
Anyone who has already endured the wait one or more times will probably do almost anything to avoid it in the future. I agree the o2 app helps, but not only because it eliminates the need for many calls. She also uses a live evaluation to tell you when it’s worth calling the customer hotline and when you’d rather keep your hands off the phone.
You can find the function under the menu item “Help & Contact”. Simply select “Call the hotline”. You can still select a contact reason, then your current one will follow on the next page Expected waiting time and the average occupancy, staggered by day of the week and time of day.
If you want, you can initiate the call directly from there or find out when you have the best chance of short waiting times. Alternatively, you can also do one step earlier request a callback then the o2 customer service will contact you at a desired time and you can forget about the annoying waiting.
Whether with a contract from o2, Vodafone or Telekom and Co., it does not always have to be the high-end smartphone:
No guarantee: Even if the waiting time is short, it can take longer
But: A guarantee does not result from the o2 app function. If you are unlucky, even with an average waiting time of 2 minutes, you can have exactly one customer in the queue whose request just needs more time. However, in our tests with the Android version, the waiting time matched the information from the app.
