How to set up Snapchat Cameos
In addition to your drawn version as Bitmoji, you can also see your face in all kinds of funny GIFs. Curious how it works and how to make such a nice Cameo? Follow the steps below:
To make a cameo in Snapchat:
- In Snapchat, open a chat that you want to send Cameo to;
- Tap the face next to the field of view and tap the two faces icon at the bottom;
- Tap any moving picture to add your selfie;
- Place your face in the frame and take a photo. Try not to smile;
- Tap ‘Create My Cameo’, choose one of the body types and tap ‘Continue’;
- You will now see the Cameos in view. Tap a Cameo to send it to your friends in chat.
Selfie Customizing Your Snapchat Cameo
Once you’ve taken a Cameo, you don’t need to take another selfie. If you still want to take another selfie or use a different photo on your iPhone, follow the steps below.
- Open a chat in Snapchat;
- Tap the face next to the text field;
- Tap the icon with your face at the bottom (next to Bitmoji);
- Tap one of the Cameos with your finger and wait for a menu to appear.
- Choose ‘New selfie’ in the menu and follow the steps.
Using Snapchat Cameo in other apps
Also very nice: Snapchat Cameos are easy to export and share as gif in another app, such as on WhatsApp or Telegram. To do that, tap a fun Cameo in a chat and wait for the menu to appear. Then choose ‘Export’. Then choose the app where you want to send the Cameo. You can also choose ‘Save video’. The Cameo will then be saved in your ‘Photos’ app.
