This is how you get Google Assistant birthday reminders
Google can help you to always be aware of birthdays, and you get a reminder three days in advance and on the day. We explain how it works.
Google Assistant birthdays
Birthdays, you can use some help to always be informed. Many people today use Facebook’s notifications. Still, not everyone uses the social network, and the Google Assistant can also notify you. Google sends its birthday reminder three days in advance so that you can possibly provide a gift. Although you will of course also receive a notification on your phone on the day itself.
To use the reminders, you must first add people from the Google Assistant settings. We explain how that works in the steps below.
Roadmap
- Open the Google Home app and tap your profile icon at the top right
- Choose Settings from the ‘Assistant’
- Scroll down and choose ‘Your most important contacts’
- Choose ‘Add person’
- Choose a person from your contacts
- Enter his or her birthday along with any other information
- Press ‘Add’
