WhatsApp leaks data of 5 million Dutch people (this is how you check it)
A hacker offers a database with 487 million WhatsApp numbers on the internet. The website Cybernews has done further research and checked some of the numbers. All numbers indeed turned out to be from a WhatsApp account.
Most numbers come from Egypt and Italy, but Dutch and Belgians are also affected. You will soon be able to check whether your data has been stolen via the Have I Been Pwned website.

iPhone production at risk? Apple factory workers strike
Riots broke out at Foxconn, the world’s largest iPhone manufacturer in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou, last week. That appears from videos shared on social media. There we see how hundreds of Foxconn employees protest and clash with the local police.
The reason behind these strikes seems to be the failure to keep promises. However, the Foxconn factory has been in the news more often in recent years.

iPhone 14 Plus not popular: Apple (temporarily) stops production
Due to disappointing sales figures of the iPhone 14 Plus, production of the device is almost at a standstill in December. In this way, Apple is trying to equalize the supply and demand for the iPhone 14 Plus.
This comes as no surprise: Apple previously announced that iPhone 14 Plus production was being reduced. Now the demand for the larger model of the iPhone 14 is apparently so low that production is almost at a standstill.

‘iPhone 15 will have a titanium casing and a rounded back’
More information has emerged about the appearance of Apple’s new flagship. According to a rumor, the iPhone 15 will have a titanium housing with rounded corners.
In a tweet late Apple analyst ShrimpApplePro know that the iPhone 15 will have a titanium casing. In addition, the back of Apple’s new flagship will be overhauled. The current iPhones still have right angles at the back, but that will look a bit rounder with the successor.

New patent: measuring blood pressure with Apple Watch one step closer
If you need to measure your blood pressure now, you need a separate blood pressure monitor. Moreover, you really have to take the time to let the blood pressure monitor do its job properly. Soon that may no longer be necessary and you will actually only need an Apple Watch.
Apple has received a patent on a new way to measure your blood pressure. The patent is pending to be used in a future version of the Beddit sleep monitor.

RTL XL stops permanently: programs from now on on Videoland
The end of RTL XL is in sight and the service will stop. From 2023, all your favorite programs from RTL XL will go to Videoland.
You can choose from three subscriptions with this service. Videoland Basis (with advertising) is temporarily available for EUR 2.99 per month. If you don’t feel like this, choose one of the more expensive packages without advertisements in between.
