Many people want to live in Amsterdam. Preferably on the canal, but that’s where the prices really start well above the millions. Then a solution could be to buy a houseboat. Many people did this too and this used to be a cheaper solution. Unfortunately, this too has come to an end.

The advertisement states that this living is in the most beautiful place in Amsterdam. That may be the case, but so is the price. The selling price (asking price) is 900,000 euros for a boat of 36 square meters. Converted this is 25,000 euros per square meter. You can call that pricey and this makes it one of the most expensive places in the Netherlands.
The housing market is boiling over, but all the way in Amsterdam. Even in the capital people are surprised at this price: a houseboat the size of a two-room house for almost a million euros. We must say that the houseboat looks neat. It is fully equipped and is quite luxurious. Think air conditioning and a bathroom with a jacuzzi. You should not live there with a family, but it is good to stay alone or with two people. Especially because there is a terrace on the water and a boat with a berth.
Location, location, location
